More external input than ever.
Social media, AI, algorithms, peer pressure — all louder than the inner voice.
Children are drowning in information and starving for insight. Most education points them outward — toward grades, approval, the next scroll. shemushi points them inward, toward clarity.
Insight isn’t taught. It’s uncovered — through Inner Compass, our live, in-person program for ages 5–18. Slowly, children uncover who they are.
What emerges is confidence. Sincerity. A self unshaken by what the world says — because it was never borrowed in the first place.
Not different in degree. Different in kind. Three shifts, happening at once, are reshaping what it feels like to be a child.
Social media, AI, algorithms, peer pressure — all louder than the inner voice.
Screen time has replaced reflection time — children hear everyone's voice but their own.
Algorithms decide what they see, who they follow, what they believe about themselves.
The question is not can they use technology — it is do they have an inner compass to guide them when they do?
A deep sense of connection to something larger than oneself; the search for meaning and purpose; the inward journey to understand one’s true nature. It emphasises compassion, interconnectedness, and inner peace.
The scientific study of the human mind and its functions — especially those affecting behaviour in a given context.
Not therapy. Not tutoring. A structured program — building inner strength before problems arise.
Every session touches at least one. Over a season, the eight pillars form a compass — measurable, private, and yours.
One session every fifteen days, in-person. Seventy-five focused minutes. A curriculum shaped by developmental psychology and rooted in wisdom traditions.
“Am I safe and loved?”
At this age, feelings are BIG but words for them are small.
By the end of the year: your child can name what they feel, say no with confidence, and trust their own inner voice.
Shemushi is not a franchise. Every batch is designed, taught and reviewed by the same two people who founded it. That is the whole quality guarantee.

Dr. Santosh More came to the United States from Bharat to earn a Master's in Computer Engineering — and found success wasn't enough. Seeking something deeper, he spent his prime years in a monastery, studying the Upaniṣads, the Bhagavad Gītā, and the Brahma Sūtras in the traditional style under India's finest scholars, before completing a Master's in Sanskrit and a PhD.
Today, he leads as Director of Services in the IT industry by day, and teaches the Dnyāneshwarī and Bhagavad Gītā to seekers across India, China, Switzerland, Poland, and the U.S. by calling.
This rare fluency in both worlds — modern complexity and ancient wisdom — is his niche. His mission: that every person, everywhere, should access the knowledge and bliss spirituality offers. Shemushi is where that mission comes alive.
“He saw this knowledge growing more urgent, not less — and children turning away simply because no one made it feel alive. Inner Compass is his answer.”

Dr. Navita More, founder of Shemushi, is a licensed physician in India with an MD in Psychiatry and Homeopathy, dedicated to transforming how children and families experience mental health care.
Over more than a decade, she has guided over 1,000 children through school mental health programs and supported thousands more through her clinical practice — combining clinical rigor with genuine compassion.
Her government-sponsored research on learning disabilities in children broke new ground, delivering measurable results where conventional approaches fell short. Now pursuing her Master's in Counseling with US licensure on the horizon, she brings a rare blend of medical expertise, research-driven insight, and heartfelt dedication to every child and family she serves.
“Clinical rigor with genuine compassion — that is the room I try to build for every child and family I serve.”
Understanding your child’s starting point — and measuring how far they have come. Age-adapted. No right or wrong answers. Results shared privately, never comparatively.
